The Village: Riva Ligure

Spring is a fortuned season, mildly blooming and sunny full of long, warm days which offer serenity and relaxation. Summer is coloured and sunny, but never humid. Time passes slowly, laying down on the beach or at home on the terrace. However, the strongest emotions come during the Autumn and the Winter, sunsets explode to the horizon and they often capture the outline of the near French Coast. You don't have to expect a frantic holiday, but a moment of peace and relaxation, our sea attracts people thanks to its smell, colour and freshness, typical of this region, in all seasons

Riva Ligure is a typical Coastal Village populated by genuine people who love every corner of it, who still keep the memory of an old railroad that cut it into two parts, but that finally has been moved and transformed into one of the most beautiful Italian cycle-tracks. A flowering locality naturally kissed by a mild climate thanks to a sun that warms winter days.  Sometimes, January is so warm that you can have breakfast outdoors and the sea is so blue that the light becomes dazzling. Sometimes, when the weather is stormy the colours become metallic, the sea seems to be a plate of steel raised by a white and foamy waves, the sky is imminent and the shore's light glimmers, moved by a sea and an inescapable wind.
